Worst Kept Secret

Worst Kept Secret

When Gabriella and Phillippe went on vacation to Anguilla,  neither expected elopement wasn’t one of the activities on their vacation to do list.

The four installment of The Good Girl series deals with the secrets.  A secret marriage…a secret inheritance…and a secret identity.

Can Gabriella and Phillippe’s love survive the barrage of secrets he’s keeping from her?  Or will the reality of who he is, be too much for her?

I sipped more wine and braced my hands on the counter.  “Uncle Jimmy, you said you investigated Phillippe.”

“That's correct.”

“Nephew…you've been a bad boy.” She smiled.  “Come on in.”  She stepped to the side and I walked past her.  She closed the door and I followed her into the living room.  “Have a seat.”

She sat on the sofa and I sat in the oversized club chair next to the sofa.  “Aunt Niki, I…”

She held her hand up.  “She's not here.”

“How did you…”

“Jerry and Jimmy told Vivi and me everything.”  She shook her head.  “Talk about stepping into a pile of…”
