Surprise NANO Book

Surprise NANO Book

It's that time of the year again. National  Novel Writing Month...commonly known as NaNoWriMo. NaNo is when authors and aspiring authors commit or challenge themselves to write at least 50,000 words during the month of November. Some  finish the challenge and some come up a little short. There's another very ambitious group who exceed the 50k word count.

I've done pretty good the three previous years. NaNo 2021, my book was The Good Girl Part Five. I met the minimum for the month, but needed another month  to complete my book.  GG5, ended up around the 80k+ word count.

This year I'm back at NaNo writing a surprise book. I was all set to write another book, but book five in The Alex series screamed to be written. This book is such a surprise, I don't have a title for it. I do however have almost twenty thousand words. I am loving this story and the way it continues the series. Right now, I don't have a release date, but I know it will be some time in 2023. Happy writing to all the NaNo participants.

In the meantime, I've got a few books to share with you this month. Both are perfect ways to relax from all of the holiday prep.

Bright, Broken Things

Liv wants to hate the guy she hires to start the farm’s yearlings.

He quit school to chase a future in horse racing, something she can only dream of. Instead, she’s dealing with the overwhelm of third-year vet med.

There’s something about him though; more than his way with horses. Maybe it’s that he seems a little bit broken… just like her.

A Billion Desires

Nick
A man like me has certain tastes.
And needs.
I’ll pay top dollar for whatever I’m craving.
No price is too high if it means I get what I want.
What I desire.
Until one day when a certain blonde walks in and turns my life upside down.
All I need is one month to get her out of my system forever.
At least that’s what I hope.

Cherry
Lying on my back for rich guys is not my idea of a dream job.
Ever since my world imploded, I’ve had to do what I’ve had to do.
I’m not proud of it.
But I’m a survivor. I’ll do whatever it takes.
Until I lay eyes on my billionaire client, Nick.
The things he does to me—and the way he makes me feel, blows my mind and shakes my reality.
When he asks for one month of exclusivity—I can’t say no.
My head tells me I can keep it professional.
My heart isn’t so sure.
After all, it’s just another job.
Right?
