I’m back from my mini writing retreat. The objective was to complete my latest WIP…WHAT MY FRIENDS SHOULD KNOW. This is the fourth book in the ALex Chronicles series. I had written the book a while ago. The characters were different now and this book just didn’t work.
There were a lot of good chapters, unfortunately they didn’t work with the way the book was going now. However, I’m thinking about putting those chapters to use in another book. Possibly a fifth book in the series or a stand alone for one of the characters.
The objective of the writing retreat was to complete the book. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. I did however, get almost 40K words written. I’m proud of that. I’ve been writing since I got back and as of this post, I’m at 68K plus. I’ve set a deadline of twelve days to complete the book and I believe I’ll make it.
In the meantime, I’ve got a few goodies for you.
